Description
Sculptural decorative bowl - Makora Krosno / Krosno, 1970s / 1980s.
An impressive decorative glass form, most likely made at Makora Krosno or another of the Krosno glassworks in the 1970s or 1980s. An object with organic, wavy lines, reminiscent of art glass from Italy (murano style), typical of the experimental design of that period.
Made of layered glass - the vivid green contrasts with the inner white, creating a depth and chiaroscuro effect. The rim is hand-formed in heat, each piece has a unique arrangement of folds and curves. The bowl can serve both a utilitarian function (such as a fruit or candy platter) and a purely decorative one.
